Our Porfolio

Founded in 1936 by Teodoro Ravanal, Viña Ravanal is one of the oldest wine estates in the Colchagua Valley. The family tradition continues with his son Mario, a leading oenologist and his grandchildren Pia, Carmen Paz and Mario Sebastian who have chosen to follow the same profession with the philosophy of making high quality wine under the personal supervision of an oenologists family. The vineyards, located in Placilla and San Jose de Manantiales next to the estate, are all family owned, allowing full control of viticulture and harvesting, which is all done by hand. Additionally Viña Ravanal has the invaluable resource of vines of over one hundred years old in their ‘Centenary Vineyards’. The exceptional terroir of the Colchagua Valley produces grapes of outstanding quality, particularly in red wines. Careful hand selection, well-judge use of French and American oak and skilful blending, alongside with the Ravanal family philosophy transform the grapes into excellent and complex wines. The vast experience of the Ravanal family and the expertise of oenologists, provided exclusively by Viña Ravanal, give a personal distinction to each of the wines. Ravanal offers a complete range of fine wines, each one a product of the delicate work of the family enologists, who ensure the wines produced are expressive of the region and true to their origin. Every bottle reflects their passion and dedication.
